“Graduating requires talent, hard work and creativity. Our students did it”

The human face is expressive enough that a smile can be seen even behind a mask.

But it was heartening, as the academic year progressed, to have opportunities to clearly see on the faces of students, instructors and staff the joy of learning, teaching and being together again.

“I know I speak on behalf of my colleagues when I say we are so very proud of everyone for their perseverance,” says Peter Leclaire, vice-president academic.

"We are so very proud of everyone for their perseverance.”

Even under pre-pandemic circumstances, “Graduating from NAIT requires talent, hard work and creativity,” says Laura Jo Gunter, president and CEO. “But our students did it. They showed great resilience to get where they are today.

“That alone is worth celebrating.”
