Back to school 2025-26: What’s new in food at NAIT

Old favourites joined by new offerings and easier ways to get them

You’re deep in study mode – your brain is on board but your stomach has other ideas. Where to go? What’s open? What’s new?

This fall, NAIT is serving up fresh food options to keep you fuelled and focused. Whether you’re wanting comfort food or something quick but healthy, here are the latest additions to what’s cooking on campus.

Check out all of the offerings from Eat at NAIT

Never enough pizza

Pizza restaurant counter labeled 'pizza pizza' with a mobile order pickup sign 'boost'; counter includes a menu, promotional materials, and a cash register. A refrigerator with beverages is on the right, and the front of the counter reads 'EVERYONE DESERVES PIZZA' with an image of a pepperoni pizza.

Craving a slice between classes? Pizza Pizza is landing at Bytes, right between Tim Hortons and Good Vibes Grill. It’s a familiar name, having served up fresh ‘za across Canada for decades. It’s also perfect for powering through a study session. Opening soon (the pizza ovens are on their way)!

Good vibes, great food

Fast-food restaurant counter labeled 'Good Vibes Grill' with a glass barrier and digital menu screens above displaying items like 'Smash Burgers' and 'Chicken & Fries'; signage includes 'BOO YAH! GOOD VIBES GRILL' and 'FUEGO FUEGO FUEGO'.

Good Vibes Grill quietly launched on campus last year. Since then, it’s become a popular spot for its smash burgers, fries and more. Find it on Main Campus at Common Market and Bytes, as well as at Plates at Patricia Campus.

Sandwiches, drinks and feeding the team

Food counter with signage advertising grilled cheese sandwiches, featuring an image of a sandwich with melted cheese and the text 'Grilled Cheese make it cheese-y'; a small sign on the left provides food allergy information.

Grilled cheese, please! Global Eats in Common Market is adding fresh takes on the classic sandwich. Each week, watch for two options – chef’s choice – served on rustic bread with kettle chips.

Big on bubble tea? Keep an eye on the area just outside of the main kiosks at Bytes for a new Palgong Tea outlet later this fall. The location will be among the first in the Prairies for the South Korean company, which opened its first Canadian shop in Ontario in 2019.

If you have a group to feed, check out Spoonfed, NAIT’s new online catering tool. Just pick a delivery time and select from the menu. Plan to give 72 hours’ notice.

Skip the lines (there's an app for that)

Counter at a Starbucks café featuring a sign promoting mobile order pickup and app downloads, with another sign in the background reading 'Welcome to Your Starbucks Café'.

With classes to attend and studying to do, who has time to wait around in line? Get those precious minutes back with Boost, NAIT’s new mobile ordering app featuring many of your campus favourites.

Boost shows menus, hours and wait times – so if you’re across campus and dreaming of Burrito Loco, put in your order on Boost, head over and pay at pick up. As a bonus, you'll save 25% on your first order, but only during September.

Available on iOS, Android and desktop. Whenever the locations are open, just scroll to “NAIT” and start your order.

A quicker caffeine (and doughnut) fix

A box of Timbits from Tim Hortons with a red handle and 'Tim Hortons' written in white. The front displays 'timbits' in bold black letters, surrounded by images of doughnut holes, and includes French text 'TOUJOURS frais' on the side.

Tim Hortons at CAT is getting two self-order kiosks by mid-September. That means shorter lines and faster caffeine fixes. Enjoy!
